CPEC is Pakistan’s Future!

Pak-China Economic Corridor (CPEC) is focusing on Balochistan and Gawadar is going to be its focal point. Gawadar will be connecting point of Middle East, China and Central Asian states.

2 days back, One Belt One Road (OBOR) Summit was held in Beijing in which PM Nawaz Sharif participated from Pakistan. CPEC is entitled as OBOR entity. Pakistan has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Alibaba Group Holdings Limited to promote Pakistan’s worldwide exports by Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) through e-commerce. CPEC will turn Pakistan into an advanced and developed economy.

By the success of OBOR projects, many companies from the Europe and US are investing in Pakistan. This will boost SME exports and expand market for indigenous technology and goods. CPEC will transform Pakistan into regional hub of socio-economic activities.
The success of CPEC will improve relations between Pakistan with other developed countries of the world like European countries.

Another threat that we should be aware of is maritime terrorism, the way RAW has done in Srilanka and can do in Gawadar. That’s why Pakistan is now increasing its maritime security to secure its territorial waters in the face of new challenges posed by India, which is trying to undermine China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). Economically, India was strongly feeling marginalized because of the Gwadar port, which they viewed as a direct challenge to India’s main shipping hub, Mumbai port.

Industrial zones will be established, new jobs will be created, economy will boost and progress will increase for Balochistan rather Pakistan. CPEC is the future of Pakistan.
