Burhan Wani…The Son of Kashmir!

Burhan Wani was a soldier, a fighter of Kashmir who sacrificed his life for the freedom of Kashmir. 1st death anniversary of Burhan Wani, Commander of Hizb ul Mujahideen is on 8th July 2017. He embraced shahadat last year during a joint operation by Indian security forces in south Kashmir, since then the Valley of Kashmir has erupted in protest rallies.
Indian army retaliated by using pellet guns on protestors, which have killed more than 200 youth and blinded about 3,500 while nearly 20,000 have been injured. Around 12,000 people were arrested or detained. There has been no stop in the Indian brutality since.
Pakistan was constrained to mention the martyrdom of Burhan Wani and the ensuing reign of terror unleashed by the Indian army in Indian Occupied Kashmir. The tragedy of Indian Occupied Kashmir is an unfinished agenda of the partition of India.
Burhan Wani was a progressive youth leader. He was cruelly targeted and was martyred.
Modi is still trying to blame Pakistan for the uprising and is using various tactics to deride Pakistan.
Lets observe the first death anniversary of Burhan Wani who is inspiration for youth. He was a true freedom fighter and a leader who took a stance for Kashmir.

Militants Free Balochistan..

Balochistan is the largest province of Pakistan and focal point of Pak-China Economic Corridor (CPEC). Balochistan is connecting the regions of the Middle East, Southwest Asia, Central Asia and South Asia providing the shortest route from seaports to Central Asia. The geo-strategic location of Balochistan is very important and its location is the key for its progress.

Due to importance of Balochistan, this province is target of enemies. Baloch separatist groups are creating unrest in this province. Foreign funding is provided to these separatist groups is provided by RAW. These banned separatist groups are BLA, BRA, BLF.

FC and other law enforcement agencies are doing operation against these militant groups. 434 militants from BLA and BRA have surrendered to the authorities. The authorities say that around 1500 militants have surrendered so far. The surrender ceremony was attended by senior military and civilians leaders.

LEAs are looking forward for surrender of more militants. This proves that terrorists groups are weakened and peace will prevail in Balochistan.

Professionalism of Pakistan Army…

Pakistan army is one of the hardest in the world. Making place among top 6 armies of the world means the performance is better than others especially better than India. Taking down terrorists in Zarb-E-Azb (Military operation in North Waziristan), bringing peace in Karachi and rooting out terrorism from Pakistan are the milestones that Pakistan Army has achieved because of its hard working soldiers and professionalism.

However, the performance of Indian Army cannot compete performance of Pakistan Army. Its been 70  years but Indian Army is not able to remove violence and freedom struggle from Kashmir and some other provinces. Khalistan movement is taking boom day by day. This shows performance of Indian soldiers is not up to the mark. The recent video of BSF Tej Bahadur Yadav has proved that even basic necessities of their soldiers is not fulfilled.

Pakistan army commandos are claimed to be one of the toughest forces of the world and have 3rd place with the US green berets having 1st and British SAS having 2nd place.

There are few reasons why Pakistan army is the best and they can beat India in war:

1) The first war between Pakistan and India (1947) Pakistan had no weapons except guns and India had everything and lot of tanks and still Pakistan and India drawed because both sides killed 1500 troops and Pakistan wounded 115 more than India.
2) The second war was lost by India. Pakistan had 260000 number of troops and India had 700000.
3) Pakistan won the Kargil war in 1999 even though Pakistan didn’t get use its air force and India used air force and infantry. Also Pakistan had 5000 troops in that war and India had 30,000.
5) In 2010 and 2012 Pakistan army came came 1st place in a world wide competition.
6) since 2008 Pakistan nuclear power has grown by 40 percent and is stronger than India’s.

Babur III-another achievement!

With the beginning of new year, the chain of achievements for Pakistan is started already. One of that achievement is BABUR-III…Babur-III is sea based variant of Ground Launched Cruise Missile (GLCM) Babur-II which was successfully test fired by Pakistan in December 2016.

The accomplishment of nuclear triad by Pakistan supports the narrative that our defence is invincible. Successful test of Babur-III is a manifestation of Pakistan’s technological progress and self-dependence.  This missile was fired from an underwater, mobile platform from an undisclosed location of Indian Ocean and hit its target with accuracy.

The main features of Babur-III missile are:

  1. This missile has a range of 450 km.

  2. It has underwater controlled propulsion and advanced guidance and navigation features, duly augmented by Global Navigation, Terrain and Scene Matching Systems.

  3. The missile features sea skimming flight capabilities to evade hostile radars and air defenses, in addition to certain stealth technologies, in an emerging regional Ballistic Missile Defence (BMD) environment

  4. Babur-III, in land-attack mode, is capable of delivering various types of payloads and will provide Pakistan with a Credible Second Strike Capability, augmenting deterrence.

The successful accomplishment of recent missile test shows that defence of Pakistan is undefeatable. Pakistan war heads are India specific…So, enemies of Pakistan …watch out..Pakistan’s defence is strong and attacking…

Challenges for new Army Chief

With the change of command yesterday, Pakistan army has new army chief now…General Qamar Bajwa. The services and work of his predecessor General Raheel Sharif are being appreciated by people. The legacy set by General Raheel Sharif should continue.

With the gain in position, General Bajwa has to face challenges as new army chief. The top most challenge is to finish operation ZarbeAzb successfully. The operation ZarbeAzb was launched on 15th June 2014 in North Waziristan and still ongoing. This operation was expanded to other tribal areas by name Khyber-1 and Khyber-2.

Although the IDPs are going back to their homes, 2 stadiums i.e. Younis Khan and Afridi Cricket stadiums are being inaugurated, yet peaceful settlement of IDPs is one of the challenges that new Chief has to look upon.

Terrorism is still a biggest challenge despite the fact that Gen. Raheel did great job in taking Pakistan out from terrorism. He targeted terrorists and their  hide outs, nation hopes that Gen.Bajwa will continue this legacy.  Terrorists and extremists must be wiped out without any discrimination

Peace in Karachi is another challenge that new COAS has to look into. National action plan, which general Sharif has alluded to and which he has implemented all across the country, is  destroying terrorists and terrorism with tremendous success in Karachi…yet it is conspicuous by its absence in Punjab. Nation hopes that Gen. Bajwa will live up to expectations… Punjab Operation is awaited.

Nation expects from New COAS more success on the national defense strategies at an affordable cost to the nation. An improved civil-military interface inclined towards the national priorities (Action against Corruption).

Strict Policy towards India is need of time as the tension at LoC is increasing. The challenges are many and the hopes are high from new COAS …but new Army Chief is competent enough to deal with these challenges.

Media creating tensions…

As the world is advancing in technology, media is turning out to be the most important pillar of the state. Yet, it is very unfortunate that media is not playing its part as it should. In Pakistan, media is using freedom to give hype to conspiracies which needs to end.

In current situation, when we are fighting against terrorism, we are facing corruption and there is dire need of rule of law, media should play a responsible role. We need to bridge the gaps…gaps in our society…gaps to be filled with unity…yet media channels focus on highlighting negative news instead of promoting the positive side of Pakistan.

Just compare our media with the West or Indian media..their media never highlights negative news especially related to their security agencies. However, our media highlights negative propaganda.

There are some media houses, like GEO, who continuously try to create conspiracy against Armed forces and try to create tensions between civil and military leadership. There are some talk shows of anchors/journalists who talk on false assumptions and propaganda that has no base. Journalists like Hamid Mir, Taha Siddiqui, should be banned.

Keeping aside print and electronic media, social media played positive as well as negative role. The social media cell of Maryam Nawaz/PMLN created few propagandazz in order to get rid of panama leaks pressure.

Last 3 years had been successful as far as civil-military relations are concerned. Being 4th pillar of state, media should play a positive role for Pakistan.

Raheel Sharif-Best Army Chief!

Its remarkable to see a Pakistani General turning out to be a STAR of the world. Its great to see General Raheel Sharif being acknowledged by International media for his services. He is not popular locally in his own public but he is World STAR now. Contribution of COAS in rooting out terrorism from the country and stabilizing the democracy have been appreciated by The Australian, BBC, CNN and many more.

Rooting out terrorism from the country was the major target of Army Chief and Pakistan has seen 69% of decline in terrorism. The tide of terrorism in Balochistan has been turned against terrorists and their sympathizers. Large number of Ferraris have surrendered and Pakistan army has shown commitment to continue to work with the provincial and federal govt towards greater security and stability.

COAS has said already, in one of his farewell speeches, that security and assistance to civil government in institution building and development work in remote areas has been his priority which brought him to Balochistan almost every month.

Southern Command has managed an arduous task of construction of over 1000 KM long road network in the rugged and hostile terrain..FWO and NLC which helped in building up CPEC in a stipulated time frame.

Gwadar port and CPEC will shine into new era of hope and prosperity for the area. CPEC has turned out to be the benchmark that will bring fruits not only for present but for future generations of Balochistan as well.

Our Army, apart from fighting the insurgents, has also put in place commendable initiatives in the education sector and providing employment to Baloch youth by recruiting more than five thousand in the Army. These measures will help in eliminating the sense of deprivation in the province and thereby denying the insurgents of a legitimate cause to mislead the Baloch youth.

The military action against the insurgents designed to establish the writ of the state in the province must continue with unruffled commitment as emphasised by the COAS.

The efforts of law enforcement agencies for stability and development of the Balochistan are commendable. The law and order situation in the province had substantially improved in the last 3 years and had begun to show its impact.

India is also trying to sabotage the CPEC through covert and overt means and making vigorous efforts to malign Pakistan at the international level by projecting its image as a state sponsoring terrorist activities in the neighboring countries, especially India.

Needless to emphasize that CPEC presents a historic opportunity to change economic profile of Pakistan and the economic situations of its teeming millions, especially the people of Balochistan besides unleashing an era of shared economic prosperity in the region, with Pakistan playing the role of an economic hub. Indeed Gen.Raheel Sharif has proved himself as best army chief and professional soldier.
